Casa Update!
Life has taken off quickly, 2012 has already been a great year! As you all know, Brett proposed to me on New Year’s Eve and we are happily engaged. Already beginning to dive into wedding plans, and I can promise you all it will be a very special very nontraditional amazing day.
In other news, I am stoked because I have officially applied for graduation! Less than 102 days! My new class is amazing. I am being mentored by an incredible third grade teacher. I have learned more in the passed two weeks about effective teaching than I have the whole time at ASU. This teacher is incredible and I am so lucky I get to work and learn from her. I cannot wait to be a teacher!
Brett and I are happy happy, Side Kick is doing well, and we still have Auggie as our foster! Bill and Kay will be out here in a few weeks and we can’t wait to see them!
Stoked for our Arizona room to be tiled!

Favorite DIY project so far! We created a beautiful outdoor dining area out of an upcycled door and two sawhorses. A great place to dine in the beautiful AZ weather.

We are engaged!!!
Proposal video coming soon! We are both incredibly happy :-) Brett did such a good job choosing an engagement ring for me. It is bright and beautiful and sunshiney and I can’t take my eyes off of it. I am so lucky that I get to marry my best friend, high school sweetheart, my one and only love. The casa is full of love right now!

Sidekick and I are sick :(
Sidekick and I are both sick today. Brett is taking really good care of us… watching movies and chilling on the baybed. The weather is really nice here, excited for our first Christmas in the new home. I feel like there is so much to get ready still, but right now I just need to sleep.
